Are you looking forward to being a uni student, but you’re not sure which university will be the right fit for you? Well, it’s time to come and meet Curtin!
If you’re a year 12 student or thinking about studying as a mature age student, don’t miss the Curtin Perth campus tours we’re holding during the term 2 school holidays.
You’ll be guided around campus by current Curtin students, which means you’ll get to know their favourite spots and be able to ask them any questions – like why they decided that Curtin was the right place for them.
During the one-hour tour you’ll learn the lay of the campus and visit a range of dedicated student amenities. You can also tour one or more of our four academic faculties, and get a sneak peak into some of their advanced learning facilities.
So come and meet Curtin for yourself!
Which faculty would you like to tour?
Each of Curtin’s four academic faculties – Business and Law, Health Sciences, Humanities, and Science and Engineering – offer advanced learning resources for your chosen course and career.
Business and Law
Join the tour of the Faculty of Business and Law if you’re interested in a career in business, law or management, or perhaps in information technology. Our industry-related facilities include The Agency, which focuses on marketing and social media, the Consumer Research Lab and The Trading Room.
If you’re keen on a career in one of the many areas of health, make sure you join the tour of our Health Sciences facilities. Our learning facilities include Anatomage instruments for learning on 3D ‘virtual bodies’, a simulated hospital ward and pharmacy, and advanced bioscience laboratories.
Join the Faculty of Humanities tour if you’re considering a career that involves culture, society or Indigenous topics, you’re interested in architecture or construction, or keen on education or the arts and creative industries. You can visit our media production studio, Hayman Theatre, and the new building for our School of Design and The Built Environment, which is in Curtin’s new Exchange engagement precinct.
Don’t miss the Faculty of Science and Engineering tour if you’re interested in a career in agriculture, environment and sustainability, are curious about the field of engineering and mining, have a knack for IT, or a passion for mathematics. Our industry-relevant facilities include the Astrodome, Biology Superlab, Field Trial Area (for agriculture studies) and numerous advanced research laboratories.
