Changemakers for Sustainability is a five-day Curtin University Faculty of Humanities-led program for year 11 and 12 students created to teach the skills required to influence positive change in a University setting.

This year, Curtin University was host to students from eight different high schools across Perth where student groups worked collaboratively to create projects based on local sustainability challenges under the guidance of academic and industry leaders.

Students identified sustainability issues of concern to them, aligned these with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and worked with Adobe staff and Curtin Makerspace staff to design targeted campaigns incorporating physical and digital assets to influence positive change. The students presented their work in a showcase event to an audience of peers, Curtin University staff, industry experts and family members.
