World Entrepreneurs Day
World Entrepreneurs’ Day is held annually on the 21st of August each year to acknowledge and celebrate those courageous enough to blaze their own trail. The purpose of the World Entrepreneurs’ Day is to create awareness for entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership throughout the world.
At Curtin, WED is the perfect day to celebrate the people who set out to start their own business or pursue a career of innovative research. Many entrepreneurial outcomes have been achieved as a result of the opportunities and programs available through Curtin’s curriculum and entrepreneurship programs, managed by the IP Commercialisation team.
World Entrepreneurs’ Day 2024
In 2024, we invite students, staff and researchers to join us at the Entrepreneurs Hub for an event celebrating World Entrepreneurs Day. Throughout the day, attendees will get to:
- Visit the Entrepreneurs Hub and meet some of the startups using the space to build their exciting ventures.
- Discover the exciting innovations that have been developed through Curtin’s entrepreneurship programs.
- Meet the startups who have participated in our entrepreneur development pipeline.
- Hang out with our new Venture Builders and find out how they can help you on your entrepreneurial journey.
- Hear about what’s happening in the Entrepreneurs Community in the coming months.
- Free catering from Pretzel and Common Ground!
- Networking with likeminded entrepreneurial spirits!!
