Curtin Tax Clinic
The CTC is the first clinic of its kind in Australia offering students, under the supervision of experienced tax practitioners, the opportunity to engage in case work directly relevant to their chosen career in taxation.
The Curtin Tax Clinic (CTC) is a welcoming, student-run clinic where clients receive advice from Curtin taxation students under the supervision of experienced tax practitioners. The CTC may be able to assist when:
- you need advice regarding a tax matter
- you are uncertain of how to respond to a notice from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
- you need assistance with your tax affairs, such as:
- meeting reporting or filing requirements
- applying for remissions of penalties
- negotiating a payment plan with the ATO
- assistance with computing tax liability.
- you are dissatisfied with an assessment and want to know your rights
- you have an ongoing issue with the ATO
- you need help understanding how to complete your taxation return.
