The webinar is split into two parts so that you can join the session that is best for you. If you have any questions that need answering along the way, we can help you during or after the session via the live chat function.
Part A is for year 12s applying through TISC, parents/guardians and those applying for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery.
Part B is for anyone not in year 12 who will be applying directly to Curtin – including TAFE students, mature age applicants, uni switchers and those who have completed an enabling program.
This session is for year 12s, parents/guardians and anyone applying for entry to a Curtin undergraduate course through TISC (including those applying for the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery).
Applying through TISC
We’ll step you through the TISC application process and explain:
the difference between competitive and guaranteed courses
early offers and how to secure your place at Curtin so you can spend the rest of the year focusing on what you need to
how first and second round offers work, and what that means for your course preferences
the application process for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery
important dates and deadlines.
This session is for anyone who is not in year 12 and will be applying direct to Curtin – including mature age applicants, uni switchers and those who have completed TAFE or an enabling programs course.
Applying direct to Curtin
As a non-year 12 student, we’ll step you through how to apply directly to Curtin and explain:
the direct application process for competitive and guaranteed courses
the application process if you have an international qualification and are now an Australian citizen or permanent resident
the different application deadlines
what to do if you’d like to begin your course in the second half of the year, in semester 2
when you can expect to receive an offer.

We’ll talk through our various admission pathways including portfolio entry, UniReady and Certificate IV. We’ll explain how to apply to Curtin from these pathways and how you can meet Curtin’s English proficiency requirements if you don’t have English ATAR.
