Get an introduction to #CurtinLife and enjoy free snacks and drinks with Café Connect on Tuesdays each week throughout the semester.
Each week a different guest speaker will address a topic like connecting with your faculty, or careers and employment for 10 minutes, allowing you time to relax and chat with your fellow students or enjoy our range of games and activities afterwards.
Whether you are an international student navigating your way through studying in Perth, or a domestic student looking to make new friends, all are welcome!

Welcome to Perth
Find out about navigating Curtin Uni and Perth, places to shop on a student budget and other essential information which will help you settle into student life. Meet an experienced Curtin Connect Advisor and start making new friends.

Careers and Employability Mini Fair
Hear from Curtin Careers, Recruit Curtin, StudyPerth, Curtin Tax Clinic and other industry partners about getting employed and the different ways to promote your skills to companies. Learn about programs such as Earn While You Learn (EWYL) which support students with employment that goes hand in hand with their studies.

Aussie Life Showcase (Extended Orientation WK 1)
The Aussie Life Showcase will be an afternoon in the heart of campus filled with classic Australian foods, a petting zoo with Australian native animals, Indigenous Australian performance, and other tasters of the Aussie life.
Come along and have a sausage roll (or two), get a glimpse of life in Australia, and find out more about important life tips from our helpful industry partners.

Multi-Cultural Showcase (Extended Orientation WK 2)
Have a slice of international life as we showcase some of the various cultures found among the people of Curtin! Taste foods, snacks and drinks popular in other countries, enjoy performances native to other lands, and learn about other walks of life from around the world.
