This session is for doctoral and masters by research students. It is presented by the Curtin Careers team, Student Success.

Selection Criteria are used by many employers to identify skills, experience and qualifications that are essential for satisfying the requirements of the job.

The key to successful interviewing is preparation and practice.

This workshop will focus on:

  • What are Selection Criteria and how do we address them, using the STAR responses.
  • How selection criteria are used in academia and industry.
  • How to prepare for job interviews, types of interviews and likely questions.
