Intergenerational Early Learning Centre Program

ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS
The Curtin University Early Learning Centre invites seniors to volunteer in an Intergenerational Program.

Volunteers visit one of our rooms for one to two hours on a morning of their choice, to interact with the children in a meaningful way. Read stories, help with the garden, enjoy a cup of tea at a tea party, build tall towers, do puzzles etc.

Please note, there is always an Educator close by and English does not have to be your first language.

Consumer Research Lab

Consumer Research Lab

ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS SOON
The Consumer Research Lab (CRL) specialises in the use of consumer biometrics and digital innovations to conduct consumer and market research. It provides businesses with an innovative, objective and scientific means to understand consumer behaviour through the use of eye tracking, brainwave, facial expression and other technologies. Compared to other traditional research methodology, these innovations may track consumers’ feelings, thoughts, and experience in a second-by-second and element-by-element manner.

From time to time this research lab needs volunteers to participate in consumer research.

Over the five-month program (May-October) Mentees and Mentors will connect for at least one hour each fortnight and work together to identify what your student hopes to accomplish and assist them to achieve these goals. This may include helping current students develop professional skills and networks, teaching them about your industry and sharing your experience e.g. what skills have been most impactful in your journey and how you got to where you are now.
