Experience your campus's creative heartbeat with a guided tour of some of the public artworks from the Curtin University Art Collection with Campus Public Art Coordinator and artist Mikaela Miller– which form Curtin’s very own open-air gallery! Learn about artists; campus landmarks; Curtin’s history; and how you can use the Collection as a resource during your time here as a Curtin student.

Public artworks installed at Curtin University capture WA’s unique history, from ancient Noongar songlines to the State’s diverse geology. Tour a series of artworks commissioned from internationally acclaimed contemporary artists including Pip & Pop’s Tanya Schultz, Howard Taylor, Robert Juniper, Walter Jack, Warren Langley, Janet Laurence and Kambarni (Kamsani Bin Salleh) and learn about their context, commissioning and installation.
What participants can bring: comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and water bottle.
Walking is along relatively well-maintained paths, some hills, but mostly flat, some stairs. Suitable for families.
If weather conditions are predicted to be too extreme, this event may be rescheduled.
