Learn

Join us for immersive educational experience that inform and inspire through the power of art.

The John Curtin Gallery offers creative and engaging experiences for students, families and the community through a diverse range of interactive workshops, guided tours, and hands-on activities designed to ignite curiosity and foster a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

For Perth Festival 2025 the access gallery at JCG has been turned into a creative learning space, where gallery visitors can learn about Yindjibarndi culture and practices represented in Alice Guiness’ Burndud Ground.

In the creative learning space you will discover more about the animals and plants sung in the Burndud. Drawing materials are provided as well as self guided activities informed by the Juluwarlu team.

A Burndud painting in the creative learning space can be engaged through touch and feel, allowing for a unique opportunity to experience the textures of Alice’s work.
