Trial databases

NewsBank contains a combination of global, regional and local news included in over 14,000 news sources. Select and search single or multiple news sources across a state, region or country, or opt to search all sources in the database.

Included in NewsBank are Australian titles such as The Australian/Weekend Australian, The West Australian, The Sunday Times (Perth), Farm Weekly and more.

The trial is running until the 11th October 2024.

Policy Commons is a database of grey literature and primary sources such as reports, transcripts, statistical publications, campaign documents, press releases, working and discussion papers and more. It includes these collections:

• Global Think Tanks – access to reports from over 25,000 organisations
• North American City Reports – access to surveys, reports and research from over 600 North American cities and urban agencies
• World Cities – access to research reports from more than 160 countries
• World Governments – access to research documents from over 150 national, provincial and state governments around the world

The trial is running until the end of September 2024.
