There are numerous ways the Library’s Reading Lists service can help you teach – here’s some info.
As we gear up for the second half of the upcoming academic year, we want to remind you that the Library is here to support you with our Reading Lists service. There are numerous ways in which it can benefit both you and your students, and we encourage you to take full advantage of it.
Keep your content in Reading Lists – not on Blackboard
Please remember that teaching staff must not upload non-Curtin content directly to Blackboard. Instead, you should report the use of all your resources to the Library to ensure compliance with the Statutory License and Library database agreements.
Request your textbooks and essential resources through Reading Lists
Did you know that you can place requests for book purchases directly into the Reading List system? We’re working hard to ensure that Prescribed Textbooks and Essential resources are electronically available to students, which will help to alleviate the cost of textbooks.
Archiving old lists
Starting in the semester break before Semester 2 2023, we’ll be archiving old Reading Lists created between 2015 to 2020. This is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date collection of academic resources for our users. Rest assured; we’ll make sure you still have access to everything you need!
Need help?
If you have any questions or require support, the Reading List team is just an email away at readinglists@curtin.edu.au . Additionally, we offer online Guided Tours and an interactive Reading Lists tutorial to help you get started. We’re even refreshing the tutorial just for you! Individual and group training can be arranged upon request.
