We want you to feel safe at the Perth Campus, anywhere and anytime, that’s why we recommend you download the SafeZone app now. It’s the quickest and easiest way to request help, report any incident, concern or emergency and access first aid.

The SafeZone app can be used in a range of situations, including:

  • In case of an emergency – If you feel threatened or need urgent help, tap the ‘Emergency’ button for an instant response from the Safer Community Team.
  • First aid alert – Medical assistance is just one call away. Tap the ‘First aid’ button and then ‘Call’ to request first aid help immediately.
  • Call for help – Speak to someone from the Curtin Safer Community Team for all non-emergency issues or to get someone from the Security Pedestrian Escort Service to escort you to your car, other parts of campus or to student housing villages.
  • Notifications – Stay up-to-date with on campus safety information.

The SafeZone app is free for both Apple and Android devices. You can download the free app from the iTunes store or Google Play store now.

Visit the SafeZone app website for more information.

Everyone deserves the right to feel safe, included and valued on campus – and it all starts with respect.
