The Curtin Experiences program offers a range of fun sports and activities for beginners! These programs give you the opportunity to meet new people, have fun and learn new skills while being active.

Monday 2 August
Beginner Hip Hop – 7:40am – 8:40am
Have a go at beginner Hip Hop and learn an energetic and exciting street style dance. These classes are perfect for those who have never danced before.
Tuesday 3 August
Self Defence – 12pm – 1pm
Learn a variety of techniques to ensure you’re prepared for anything and able to keep yourself safe at all times.
Couch to 5k – 5:45pm – 6:45pm
The ideal running program for beginners, designed to help you attain your desired running goal in a fun and supportive environment.
Wednesday 4 August
Beginner Muay Thai – 12pm – 1pm
Known as the ‘art of eight limbs’, our Muay Thai classes teach students the very basics of balance, footwork, attack and defence.
Thursday 5 August
Boxfit – 12pm – 1pm
Learn the finer points of boxing including defense, pad work, shadow boxing, and footwork in the action-packed class that will get you up and moving.
Tennis – 6pm – 7pm & 7pm – 8pm
Whether you’ve never played tennis before, or you want to take your skills to the next level, these classes will teach you to master one of the most loved sports in no time. Learn tennis for beginners and intermediates from expert coaches.
Friday 6 August
Salsation – 12pm – 1pm
Designed to be fun and energetic, Salsation is an eclectic mix of different rhythms, cultures, dances, and fitness protocols with a strong focus on musicality and lyrical expression.
