What is the Curtin Space Science & Technology Centre?
Planetary exploration addresses some of humanity’s greatest science, technical and philosophical challenges and research from the Space Science and Technology Centre is fundamental to these endeavours. Our vision is to inspire the public and advance industry through space mission science and engineering, and the Binar Space Program from SSTC is critical to that. Binar-1 is just the beginning. With 6 more missions in the next 18 months, we are working towards our goal of orbiting the Moon by 2025, advancing solar system understanding and make space exploration possible for WA. With established partnerships with NASA and Lockheed Martin, the SSTC is home to the largest planetary research group in the Southern Hemisphere. Learn more.
