We are now in a position to advise that we will be undertaking structural remediation work to address compliance issues which came to our attention in the course of assessing a proposed extension to Building 408.
We anticipate that the building will remain closed until at least the end of 2023 whilst the necessary work is scoped, approved, contracted and executed. Planning for alternative arrangements for users of the building during 2023 is advanced, and further detail will be provided nearer the time.
We confirm that there are no contamination issues and no one who has been in or around Building 408 or adjoining areas need have any concern about health risks.
