Curtin University of Technology’s Muresk Institute will open its doors to the public on 7 September 2008 for the annual Muresk Open Day.
The Muresk Open Day is an opportunity for future students and their families to come on campus to learn about the many degrees available through Muresk and the broad range of careers in the agriculture and food industries.
Head of Agribusiness at Muresk’s Northam Campus Dr Gary Hepworth said that Open Day is an exciting and important event, especially for those interested in studying for a degree in agribusiness.
“Muresk Open Day provides a fantastic opportunity for potential students to gain a clear understanding of the many career opportunities available with an agribusiness degree,” Dr Hepworth said.
“Prospective students, their families and friends can find out about course and career options while checking out the facilities available on the Northam campus.”
Visitors to the campus can tour the commercial farm and field and research trials, as well as take a tour of the teaching facilities and residential accommodation. Current Muresk students will also be in attendance to discuss their first-hand experience of university and campus life.
All visitors will be provided with lunch in the historic homestead.
