Curtin University Professors Steven Tingay and Igor Bray will discuss the future of physics and radio astronomy at the iVEC 2011 eResearch Interns Showcase, on 23-24 February at the ARRC Auditorium.
iVEC’s 2011 eResearch Interns Showcase is being held in conjunction with the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) to celebrate the work of this year’s interns from both organisations.
The first in a series of eResearch events planned for 2011, the Showcase will feature some of Western Australia’s leading scientific researchers and academic facilitators as well as cutting edge research from a range of key disciplines, including radio astronomy, computational fluid dynamics, 3D visualisation, geophysics and optical microscopy.
The showcase will also include a poster session on both days to allow discussion with early and late career researchers in these fields of science.
When: 9.00am – 2:15pm, Wednesday 23rd February and 9.00am – 4.30pm, Thursday 24 February
Venue: ARRC Auditorium, 26 Dick Perry Avenue, Kensington
