Next week Curtin University will be holding its first ever virtual postgraduate day.
Prospective students will be able to log into the event from the comfort of their lounge-room on Wednesday 19 October, and chat with expert Curtin staff.
By logging on to Curtin’s Virtual Event on Wednesday 19 October between 9am-9pm, students will be able to speak with Curtin staff and ask questions relating to postgraduate courses, fees and admission.
Ty Hayes, Associate Director of the Future Students Centre at Curtin University said the Virtual Event will make it even easier for students to find out about their postgraduate options.
“Many people want to be able to do postgraduate study but are not sure if it’s right for them,” Ty said.
“Postgraduate students are typically working professionals that lead busy lives and may not have time to get out to campus in the evening for an information session.
“We offer a range of courses online, so it made sense to give potential students the chance to speak with us online at a time that suits them,” he said.
For those who prefer a more traditional information event, Curtin will also be holding two one-hour Postgraduate Information Sessions on the same evening at the John Curtin Gallery.
Commencing at 5pm and 6pm, the sessions will provide access to Curtin academics, faculty experts and alumni, who will offer advice, information and experience within their particular fields to students.
