Curtin University has retained its national ranking of ninth in Australia in the Center for World University Rankings’ (CWUR) 2020-21 edition.
It measures the academic performance of 20,000 universities across the globe.
Curtin University Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said the latest ranking results showed Curtin’s continued success on the national and international stages.
“The Center for World University Rankings result again places Curtin among the nation’s highest ranking universities,” Professor Terry said.
“It also places Curtin in the top tier of universities around the world for both learning environment and research outcomes.
“This global ranking assesses the quality of education and academic staff, research performance and alumni employment, confirming Curtin’s position among the world’s top academic institutions.”
Based in the United Arab Emirates, the Center for World University Rankings is a consulting organisation that provides policy advice and strategic insights to governments and universities to improve educational and research outcomes.
