Curtin University has been awarded multiple five star ratings in the 2021 Good Universities Guide, and has been ranked Western Australia’s top university for graduate outcomes including full-time employment and starting salary; as well as staff qualifications, learner engagement and learning resources.
The latest edition also ranked Curtin in the top band of Australian universities for undergraduate teaching quality, overall experience, learning resources, learner engagement, starting salary and skills development.
Curtin Vice-Chancellor Professor John Cordery said the latest results reaffirm Curtin’s excellent reputation in teaching, learning and graduate outcomes.
“Curtin continues to out-rank all other WA universities in several important categories including the full-time employment rate, confirming our commitment to producing job-ready graduates.”
“It’s particularly satisfying to see Curtin achieving high rankings across WA and nationally in the undergraduate educational experience measures for many fields of study including medicine, architecture, business management, psychology and social work.

Curtin University has also maintained its ranking in the top one per cent of universities worldwide, with the University placed 9th in Australia according to the prestigious Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 2020.
The ARWU listing is widely recognised for its relevance as a research-orientated ranking system, and is based on a range of measures including research output and number of Highly Cited Researchers.
