Do you know what you want from your future career, but have a million questions on how to get there? The Industry Mentoring Program (IMP) connects you with an industry professional who can help answer those questions.
Through IMP you will be partnered with a mentor who has worked in the field you’re interested in. Together you will identify what you hope to accomplish during the program and then work collaboratively to meet these goals.
You will have 11 weeks to build a relationship with your mentor and strategically achieve the goals the two of you set together. Ask your mentor questions about their experience, what skills have been most impactful in their journey, and how they got to where they are now.
Program highlights include:
- Friday 2 June: Successful applicants notified
- Wednesday 2 Aug: Mentees and mentors notified of their matches
- Thursday 3 August: IMP launch event
- Friday 4 August to Wednesday 18 October: IMP experience
- Thursday 19 October: Program concludes with a wrap-up event.
IMP is open to Curtin undergraduate students in their second year of studies or above who are available for at least one hour each week to connect with their mentor.
There are a limited number of places available, and applications close Friday 26 May 2023.
