Here’s our top four things that you should know about the Library at the beginning of semester:

The Library catalogue is your gateway to journal articles, databases and books

Our Library catalogue contains thousands of resources that you can browse online 24/7. As part of your studies, you’ll need to research texts and read widely for assignments – the Library catalogue is the best to get what you need. Most items can be accessed online so you won’t even need to come to campus.

We’re holding a bunch of workshops to help you search and start your assignments – come along if you can!

Library Lift Off and tours

Missed out on Library workshops and tours during Orientation Week? There’s still plenty of opportunities to check out TL Robertson Library and hear from our staff about our spaces and services.

Our Library Lift Off sessions highlight our key services, and are great if you want more in-depth help on a particular topic:

  • Whispers Between the Shelves: Discover our Collection
  • Article Quest: Navigating the World of Information
  • Space Navigator: Your Guide to Space Bookings
  • SOS: Your Guide to Help

Find more details on our workshops page.

We’re also offering Library tours – join us on a walk through the Library, tour our facilities and find out about services to help you succeed at university. Details can be found here, no registration required!

Our academic and study skills website UniSkills is ready when you need help

UniSkills is a one-stop, easy to use, interactive platform with modules to help you through your university journey. It includes five topics that will help you with your studies:

  • assignment skills
  • study skills
  • digital skills
  • numeracy skills
  • referencing

You can pop in as you need to revise study basics, or follow our guides from start to finish for a complete experience. It’s worth a look!
