Welcome to Year 10! It’s a year filled with new challenges and exciting opportunities. While sometimes transitioning into a new year can feel a little overwhelming, we’ve got some tips to help guide you through it.
1. Ease into the year
It’s important to take a deep breath and give yourself some time to adjust to the new year. Allow yourself the space to settle into your classes and figure out how you want to approach your last few years at high school.
2. Make choices for you
Whether it’s picking subjects, joining clubs, or deciding how to spend your free time, make choices that work for you. If you trust your gut and follow your passions, you can’t go wrong. If you’d like see what types of courses suit your personality, take our fun Find U Quiz.
3. Find your balance
With studies, extracurriculars and everything in between, it’s crucial to find a balanced routine that prioritises your wellbeing. Make time for things that recharge your batteries, whether it’s hanging out with friends, pursuing hobbies, or simply relaxing. Remember, a happy mind is a productive mind!
4. Experiment with study methods
You’ll probably have quite a lot of subject content to learn this year. Try out different study methods until you find what method works best for you. Whether it’s flashcards, mind maps, or group study sessions, there’s a method out there that’ll make learning feel a little easier.
