Do you love the thrill of a good deal? Are you a master at finding stylish gems without breaking the bank? Mark your calendars for Saturday 18 May from 9 am at the Claremont Showground to unleash your inner bargain hunter at the Bindaring Clothing Sale!
The Bindaring Clothing Sale is a FREE event jam-packed with racks upon racks of fabulous finds, from high-end designer labels to everyday op shop wear, all under one roof. But this event is not just a shopping extravaganza; it’s a 100% volunteer-run fundraiser for the Red Cross, supporting vital programs right here in WA.
What price points should you expect?
Price-wise, this is probably one of the most student budget-friendly Op-Shop events you will find this year. With Op Shop goodness starting from $2, and the prizes being frozen since 2017, this is the perfect place to shop graduation outfits and everyday class wear.
OP-SHOP – clothing, shoes, and accessories for the whole family that won’t break the budget, with prices from $2 to a maximum of $10.
MENSWEAR – a one-stop shop for men’s clothing and shoes, prices from $5.
EMPORIUM – A treasure trove of vintage, quirky, sometimes unusual clothing and accessories, prices from $10.
BOUTIQUE – great quality near new women’s clothing and accessories, prices from $20.
DESIGNER – Excellent quality Australian and international designer clothing labels, prices from $60.
Why should you attend?
The aim of the event is to sell it all. Reducing waste and landfill, funding the Red Cross initiatives and supporting a fantastic cause are all parts of an amazing weekend activity that can fit easily into your student budget.
Our very own CV! volunteers have been hard at work sorting through donations in the lead-up to the big day, so you know you’re in for a treat. Your wardrobe—and your wallet—will thank you later!
