Ready to meet the finalists for Curtin’s talent competition, Talent 4 Tomorrow?
The stakes have never been higher. Here are the Curtin finalists who will be competing in the Talent 4 Tomorrow Grand Finale on Wednesday 7 August!
FOG
FOG is a singer that leans towards R&B/Soul as well as Afrobeats/Afrornb.
Iman Razak
Iman is a singer and guitarist who loves to perform.
Ortinel G
Ortinel G is a Hip Hop artist that makes uplifting music focused on empowering, providing hope and encouraging young people.
Ekadantaya Vakratundaya
Ekadantaya Vakratundaya is a dancer, who will be showcasing an Indian classical dance form, called Bharatnatyam.
Ben and Emma
Ben and Emma are an musical duo, who will be playing the acoustic guitar and singing.
THE KICKONS
The Kickons are a new originals band. With influences ranging from 5SOS to the red hot chilli peppers. They’ve created an almost nostalgic, yet new wave indie pop rock sound and have a create track record of playing live!
KOPANO
Before joining the Enrolments team in 2023, Jemma was an active synth pop girlie in Perth’s music scene. Raised in Botswana, the name KOPANO was the name of her Primary School and stands for Unity. KOPANO’s unreleased track ‘The Fight’ urges bold choices and resilience. Inspired by Florence + The Machine and currently Chappel Roan, Jemma blends passion with strong synth sounds and influences in her music.
Tristan Balz
Tristian Balz is a singer, who will be performing an original song about someone on their journey to stand in their own truth, learn to trust their dreams and follow their vision. With hopes that the glow from within can spark a fire in others, even when that someone is no more.
CaraMia
CaraMia are a singing duo who have been harmonising together since they were four years old. They have a rich history of performances in numerous musicals and talent shows.
Jessica Ward
Jessica is a dancer, who will be performing a piece about unrequited and complicated love. The dance is showcasing how you may have somebody in your life who you know you can’t be with, shouldn’t be with or that doesn’t feel the same way as you, but you can’t help but still love and care for them deeply.
Natasha Meyers
Natasha Meyers is a 20 year old classically trained musician who sings a variety of genres and styles from pop to rock, you name it.
With a huge range of talent, you won’t want to miss out on the Talent 4 Tomorrow Grand Finale on 7 August, where these local talents will compete for the People’s Choice Award and University’s Choice Award.
Enjoy free chicken or vegan paella and sweet treats at Talent 4 Tomorrow, co-hosted by student reps from Curtin Connect and Curtin Student Guild until stock lasts. Marquees will be available to keep us dry.
