Attending conferences, entering competitions, and delivering presentations are great activities for your professional development, but, they can be a strain on your wallet when you are paying for them out of pocket. So imagine if you could get financial support to fund your development!
The Professional Development Grant has been developed to support students with their professional and personal development opportunities by offering a one-off cash payment ranging between $500 – $3000 to be used at your discretion towards your chosen event or activity.
What event/activity can I use the money for?
The grant can be used for events/activities that will help you develop your career and leadership skills such as attending national and international conferences, presenting papers, and competing in academic conferences.
Who is eligible?
Current domestic students enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate course are invited to apply.
When do applications close?
Applications close on Wednesday 12 March.
