The National Tertiary Education Union has now extended bans on the recording and transmission to Curtin of student assessment and exam results. The bans are part of industrial action related to negotiations over salaries and conditions.
However, as the majority of Curtin academics are not union members and not all union members will follow the bans, most results are expected to be processed as usual and available to students on the scheduled result publication date (Wednesday 9 December).
Results for a small number of students may not be available to be processed in time for publication on 9 December. The University will process and approve these results as soon as they are available, and if necessary, additional staff will be allocated to this task.
The bans are expected to cease on 4 December, and all students should receive their results on or shortly after 9 December.
