In October, Dr Stian Thoresen met with the Dean of Ratchasuda College at Mahidol University, Associate Professor Tavee Cheausuwantavee, and other senior administrators during a visit to Thailand.
Ratchasuda College is a leading centre of disability education and research. In addition to discussing research collaborations, the upcoming annual Ratchasuda International Conference on Disability and the prospect of the School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work to Co-Host the 3rd Conference in late April 2016 was discussed.
The School has now agreed to support this event and will visit Ratchasuda College in addition to Co-Host the 3rd Ratchasuda International Conference on Disability 2016: Empowerment through Holistic Approach during the last week of April next year. This follows a strong representation of School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work staff and presentations at the two previous Ratchasuda Conferences. A call for presentations and full peer reviewed papers for the 3rd Conference is currently open.
