CITS will be performing updates on the VDI environment that supports the Virtual Desktop Labs.
When is this going to happen?
- Monday 3 June 2019 (WA Day Public Holiday)
- 8 am to 12 pm (AWST)
- Full outage to Virtual Desktop services
- Monday 24 June 2019
- 8 am to 12 pm (AWST)
- Reduced capacity for approximately two hours
How will this affect you?
You will not be able to access the Virtual Desktop Labs or Virtual Desktop for 4 hours on 3 June.
You may experience degraded performance for approximately 2 hours on 24 June. Access via these methods will be affected:
- All web browsers access to mydesktop.curtin.edu
- VMware Horizon desktop application (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- VMware Horizon mobile apps (Android, iOS)
Once the upgrade is complete, services will return to normal.
