As the outbreak of COVID-19 continues to spread, we understand many members of our community are growing increasingly anxious about its potential impact.
In an effort to allay some of these concerns the staff who are advising us on safety and health matters – Professor Archie Clements, Dr Fiona Coombes and Mr Quentin Hearn – have provided answers to frequently asked questions though a video which you can watch here.
Managers and teams are asked to watch this video together and discuss the information provided. Any questions arising from that discussion can be forwarded to a new email address – covidconcern@curtin.edu.au. Responses will be provided by staff with safety, medical, emergency, staffing and student management expertise.
Students are also welcome to send any questions they have regarding COVID-19 to Curtin Connect.
I expect to issue further advice tomorrow regarding Curtin’s response to this pandemic.
