In support of the Go Gold Australia childhood cancer awareness campaign, Curtin Stadium, along with the State Theatre of WA, Perth Concert Hall, the Bell Tower, the Perth Cultural Centre Precinct and the Old Mill will shine gold for the month.
More than 600 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, with three lives claimed every week. Currently less than 1 per cent of the National Health and Medical Research Council budget is dedicated to childhood cancer. By increasing awareness and national funding for research, we can help improve a child’s prognosis and their chances of recovery.
To show your support for childhood cancer awareness, wear a gold ribbon this month, make a donation to childhood cancer research or donate blood.
