Curtin Business School (CBS) at Curtin University has excelled in the Eduniversal rankings which evaluate the best 4,000 Master courses in 30 disciplines, worldwide.
Eduniversal is a global ranking and rating agency specialising in evaluating academic institutions and programs in higher education.
The CBS Master of Taxation degree ranked 18th in the world, and the Master of Supply Chain Management degree ranked 40th in the world in the top 100 Best Masters in Supply Chain and Logistics.
Pro Vice-Chancellor, Curtin Business School, Professor Tony Travaglione, said further to the global rankings success, Curtin Business School once again received a 4 Palmes rating for its significant international influence by Eduniversal.
“CBS ranked tenth out of the 35 Australian universities who made it onto the 1,000 institutions list from 154 countries,” Professor Travaglione said.
“This classifies CBS as a Top Business School in the Oceania region which includes Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Fiji Islands, Hawaii, Samoa and Vanuatu.”
CBS ranked in the top ten in the Oceania region in:
- Master of Marketing – ranked second
- Master of Commerce (Applied Finance) ranked fourth
- Master of Accounting (CPA Australia Extensions Studies) ranked fifth
- Master of Human Resources – ranked fifth
- Master of Commerce (Information Systems & Technology) ranked sixth
- Master of International Business – ranked sixth
- Master of Science (Mineral and Energy Economics) ranked sixth
- Master of Commerce (Marketing) ranked sixth
- Master of Management – ranked tenth
The rankings are measured against a number of criteria including the number of professional accreditations; notoriety of the programs; the salary of first employment after graduation; student diversity; and student satisfaction. The final ranking is determined through a global survey of 5,000 international recruiters, 800,000 students and over 10,000 representatives from 1,000 academic institutions in 154 countries.
