If you’ve experienced family separation and aged between 12 – 21, the Commissioner for Children and Young People invites you to share your experiences.
By taking part, you can share your ideas on ways to improve supports for young people who may experience family separation, services, and the family law system.
You can participate and share your experiences through one of the below options:
- Share your story – Submit your story to the Commissioner in a way that suits you – such as writing about your story, making a video or audio recording, submitting artwork or a multi-media presentation.
- Share your views or opinions – Get interviewed by one of the Commissioner’s team members either in person or over the phone.
- Complete an online survey – You can complete a short online survey where you can share your ideas on how to improve series for children and young people. Note* Online survey participants will go into a draw to win one of two $30 Coles vouchers.

All feedback is kept confidential. Any findings will be published in December 2018 and will be provided to the Family Court of WA and the Australian Law Reform Commission’s national review of the family law system.
