Indigenous students who are not yet qualified to enter tertiary study can fix that by enrolling the Indigenous Tertiary Enabling Course which is accepting applications until July 7.
The course equips students with the skills, qualifications and confidence needed to succeed in an undergraduate course at Curtin.
Students become immersed in the university environment while they prepare for mainstream tertiary study.
The course provides students with support, knowledge and skills while promoting a strong sense of Aboriginality.
Students undertake units in indigenous studies, numeracy, communications and a choice of either humanities, science or arts subjects.
On successful completion, students become eligible for entry into a range of Curtin’s degree and associate degree programs.
