Curtin Volunteers! (CV!) is excited to announce that JCW Site Leader Applications are now open and will remain so until Sunday 29 March 2020!
This is a great opportunity for you to develop your Leadership, Organisational, Problem Solving and Communication skills as you receive mentoring and support to successfully deliver a JCW trip.
John Curtin Weekend (JCW) is Curtin Volunteers!’ largest community project, supporting over 35 community-driven projects across regional towns and metropolitan sites.
Occurring over six weekends in September and October, JCW offers students the opportunity to participate in both day excursions and overnight trips to support communities through a variety of exciting activities.
You may travel to Dardanup for their annual Bull & Barrel festival, lend a hand at Gingin’s Gravity Discovery Centre, support Kununoppin’s annual Hospital Fete or help out at HorsePower’s State Games in Pinjarra.
From gardening, to agricultural shows and concerts, from fundraisers to making wheelchairs, JCW promises a unique volunteering experience for volunteers and leaders alike.
If you have a passion for helping the community, leading others, organising trips and exploring new places, take a look at our JCW Site Leader Position Description and apply.
