As part of Curtin University’s 40-year anniversary of journalism, highly acclaimed political commentator Laurie Oakes presented a public lecture on the future of political journalism in the digital age.

With a career spanning 50 years and four Walkley Awards under his belt, including the Gold in 2010, Oakes’s work as a political journalist has earned him the respect of peers, politicians, the public and aspiring journalists.
