A leading scholar in the area of foreign direct investment with China, Professor Fuming Jiang, has been appointed as Chair in International Management at Curtin University.
Professor Jiang’s knowledge of foreign investment in China spans more than 10 years and includes research on issues of investing and managing business operations within China.
Head of Curtin’s School of Management Professor Tony Travaglione, said Professor Jiang was a significant appointment to Curtin.
“I am delighted to have Professor Jiang represent Curtin University as we continue to educate our students about the Chinese business environment.” Professor Travaglione said.
“Professor Jiang has extensive knowledge about Chinese foreign investment and will be a significant contributor within the School of Management and Curtin Business School.”
Prior to his appointment, Professor Jiang held positions as Deputy Head of School, Chair of Education Committee and Discipline Convenor for International Business at the Australian National University, Canberra.
Professor Jiang said he was pleased to be joining Curtin
“At a time when Australia’s relationship with China is very strong, I am excited to be able to share my experiences with staff and students, and help them learn more about how to foster and build upon these important business relationships,” Professor Jiang said.
