Curtin University has today been named an ABA100 Winner for Digital CX Management in The Australian Business Awards 2019.
The award recognises Curtin’s work to streamline and improve the digital experience for students, in line with the University’s strategic objective to offer a seamless and responsive digital learning and teaching experience.
Curtin University Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Professor Jill Downie said she was delighted Curtin had been acknowledged for offering students an innovative digital experience.
“The Australian Business Award for Digital CX Management recognises organisations that have achieved outstanding results through initiatives that demonstrate excellence in digital customer experience,” Professor Downie said.
“I am thrilled Curtin’s digital experience for students has been acknowledged as a national leader by being named an ABA100 Winner for Digital CX Management. The University congratulates all the teams involved in ensuring a streamlined and engaging learning and teaching experience for our students.”
Curtin University Digital User Experience and Insights Team Manager Peter van Schie said the award was testament to what can be achieved through strong collaboration and a shared vision.
“It’s a great acknowledgement of the ingenuity, adaptability and genuine commitment of our team and other key staff whose innovative thinking has so successfully reimagined the digital student environment at Curtin University,” Mr van Schie said.
Curtin’s recognition follows university-wide work to provide a solid digital platform that implements a consistent user interface across applications, consolidates systems that duplicate functionality, utilises data for real-time and historical monitoring, streamlines workflow and improves useability and the quality of information provided to students.
