A Public Policy Forum hosted by the John Curtin Institute of Public Policy

As the 2008 State election culminates on 6 September, a panel of Curtin University of Technology experts will analyse the campaign and proposed policy ideas. Possible outcomes of the election will also be explored.
The panel will consist of:
• Mike Daube, Professor of Health Policy – Who will fix health?
• The Hon Mal Bryce, Adjunct Professor, John Curtin Institute of Public Policy – Dumbing down the electorate … where is the vision?
• Fiona McKenzie, Professor and Director, Housing and Urban Research Institute of Western Australia (HURIWA) – Impact of the gas crisis and the extension of the First Start Shared Equity Scheme on housing issues.
• David Black, Emeritus Professor, John Curtin Prime Ministerial Library – Lessons from the past
• Harry Phillips, Adjunct Professor, John Curtin Institute of Public Policy – Opinion Polls and Policy
The Forum is hosted by Curtin’s John Curtin Institute of Public Policy (JCIPP) which conducts research into public policy, offers education through award degrees and manages a public affairs program.
