Curtin University will be participating in a joint training exercise with WA Police on Tuesday 15 April, as part of a national safety initiative.
During the exercise, the University will be testing emergency and critical incident procedures with the police, on site at Curtin’s Bentley Campus.
The exercise will involve several mock incidents and cordoning off of an area of campus.
Staff and students will be informed of the exercise and media are advised that there is no cause for concern.
The exercise is scheduled to run from 8.30am to 1pm. There will be no media or vision opportunities.
