Curtin University of Technology’s Muresk Campus in Northam will have its annual Open Day on Sunday September 13.
Curtin’s Head of Agribusiness, Dr Christine Storer, said the day would provide important information for prospective students and their families.
“A number of highly regarded agribusiness courses are provided by Curtin,” she said.
“This Open Day will give prospective students, their families and friends the opportunity to speak to academic staff and current students to gain a clearer insight into agribusiness and campus life.”
Dr Storer said Curtin’s agribusiness courses were competitive and well supported by the industry.
“Students who study agribusiness at Curtin are in high demand across the industry,” she said.
“Many of our students secure employment before they finish their final year of study.”
The Open Day runs from 10am-2.30pm and features information sessions on courses such as broad acre agriculture and equine management.
Other activities include equine demonstrations, guest presentations by current students and graduates, plus career and pathway entry information.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Jane den Hollander and Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Andris Stelbovic will be available to answer queries regarding the Muresk Consultation process between 10am-1.00pm.
