Curtin University Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry has advised that one of the two students injured in a shooting in New Orleans recently has been released from hospital.
“The other student remains in hospital and his condition continues to improve. He has his family with him for support,” Professor Terry said.
“We are relieved and very pleased to hear that one of our students has now been discharged.”
Professor Sam Spearing, who travelled to New Orleans to support the students, has now returned to WA.
