Following the outcome of the Voice referendum, is it possible to achieve Reconciliation?

We ask you to join us in ReconciliAction through participation in the Indigenous Futures ReconciliAction Challenge.

By participating in the Challenge, you’ll have the chance to develop real solutions in response to the provocation ‘The Country said No, so Now What?’. The Challenge brings together students, academics, community and industry partners, and you will engage in learning activities and propose solutions.

What’s involved?

An intensive unit will be delivered during the mid-semester winter break, during which you will earn 25 credits, meet other students from across the university, be challenged, be bold, and understand your role in ReconciliAction. The Challenge will also include opportunities to learn from and engage with academics, community, and industry partners.

When is the Challenge?

One week during the mid-semester break, beginning 1 July 2024.

Where?

School of Design and Built Environment (Building 418).

Who is eligible?

Eligibility for the program is dependent on your study plan and degree structure. WORK2000 – Go Practice 1 (undergraduate) and WORK5003 – Go Practice 1 (postgraduate) are 25 credit point elective units. The program is open to most undergraduate and postgraduate students from all course backgrounds. Selection for the program is based on a competitive expression of interest process.

If you meet the criteria and have space on your study plan for a 25-credit point elective unit, register your interest for the ReconciliAction Challenge, and you will be contacted with more details soon!
