Welcome to Semester 2! As you return to campus, we want to remind you about the ongoing construction of the B316 Sciences Building at the south-eastern end of Bentley campus and its impact on parking.
Key Reminders
Construction and Parking: The construction work, which started on 17 June, is an exciting development for Curtin but it does mean some disruptions, including the closure of parking bays near the Humanities and Science and Engineering buildings.
Temporary Parking Solutions: To make things easier, we’ve set up two large temporary parking areas (Green bays on Cellopark) for students, staff and visitors at the northern end of campus off University Boulevard. Starting Monday July 22, a courtesy bus service will run from these areas to two drop-off locations:
- Stand 2 at Hayman Road Bus Station and;
- Near The Forum in front of B200A.
Check out the B316 Parking & Road Changes map for more details.
Plan Ahead: If you choose to drive to campus, please take a look at our FAQ page and updated maps to plan your commute. You might need a bit more time to get to your classes, so it’s good to be prepared.
We know these changes may be inconvenient, especially at the start of the semester when parking demand is high. We’re doing our best to balance everyone’s needs and minimise the disruption.
If you have any specific questions that aren’t covered in the FAQs, feel free to email us at bentleycampusparking@curtin.edu.au.
Thanks for your understanding and support!
