Do you want to represent Curtin while playing a sport that you love, or are you an elite athlete looking for support? Curtin Stadium has a range of programs designed to help athletes of all levels perform at their best.
University Basketball League (UBL)
UBL is a student-only competition run by UniSport Australia. In 2024, there are 14 universities from around Australia who will compete in both men’s and women’s events. Selected players will be required to travel interstate to compete against other universities.
Western Series
UniSport Australia, in conjunction with the five Western Australian universities, runs the Western Series Inter-Varsity competition, a calendar of inter-university events where you can represent Curtin against our Western rivals.

Uni Nationals
Uni Nationals is an annual competition that provides an opportunity for students to go head to head in a number of national standard sporting events. In 2024, the UniSport Nationals will be held in Canberra from 7 to 13 September.
Indigenous Nationals
Indigenous Nationals is a multi-sport competition for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student-athletes. The annual event brings together student-athletes from universities across Australia to compete in a variety of sports. The 28th Indigenous Nationals will be held from 23 – 27 June, 2024.
Elite Athlete Program
The Elite Athlete program allows our elite athletes to achieve their ultimate potential both in sport and study. The program can support students with flexible study, assessment and examination options, a complimentary Curtin Stadium Gym membership, an opportunity to access the Elite Athlete Grant and more.
