We’re excited to announce that a project to revitalise the Dome and Stadium Precinct is scheduled to begin Tuesday 22 April 2025.
This project will transform the outdoor area to the north and south of our iconic Dome into a lively and welcoming public space and see the Geodesic Dome itself turned into a versatile, open-air pavilion used for a range of events and everyday use. These upgrades will improve the connection between our Exchange precinct and Curtin Stadium and provide a key location for students and staff.
Please note that from Tuesday 22 April, one lane of Beazley Avenue will be closed for five working days between 7am and 4pm, to set-up the construction area.
This lane will reopen after hours, and over the long weekend. Traffic management will be in place to guide vehicles in both directions, and we kindly ask all road users to exercise additional caution during this time. Please refer to the map below.
Dates of Beazley Avenue lane closure:
• Tuesday 22 April – Thursday 24 April
• Wednesday 30 April – Thursday 1 May
Site set-up for this project has been scheduled during Study Week, 26 April – 30 April, to help minimise disruption to students.
