Thinking about volunteering you’re studying at Curtin? National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest celebration of the meaningful contributions made by volunteers across the country, and it’s the perfect time to dip your toes into the world of giving back.
Curtin Volunteers! is Curtin’s resident student volunteering program and it provides volunteering and leadership opportunities that both enhances the student experience while benefitting the wider community. We spoke to six current Curtin Volunteers about why they chose to volunteer with CV! while they study at Curtin.

“I choose to volunteer with CV! because I get the opportunity to interact with other students from different faculties and courses. As a leader, I’ve met so many people with different backgrounds, some of which I’ve become good friends with. “Getting out of my comfort zone is what led me to volunteer with CV!. it is natural for me to just help. At Curtin, I felt that I wanted to get involved and practice that value. “I chose to volunteer with CV! because I participated in a volunteer activity in Semester 1 last year, and I found it to be a fun experience. I thought it’d be a nice experience to involve myself with the community.
