Welcome to the TL Robertson Library! Whether you’re here for study, research, or collaboration, our diverse spaces will cater to your needs. Here’s a quick guide to help you navigate.

Key Library Spaces

Level 2 – Books & Support

  • High Demand Collection: Short-term textbook loans.
  • Click & Collect Shelves: Convenient book pickup.
  • Help Desks: Library and IT support.
  • Guild Library Cafe & Student Kitchen: Food and drinks, microwaves, hot/cold water.

Level 3 – The Hub

  • Reading Room: Quiet individual study with powered desks.
  • Makerspace: 3D printers, laser cutters, VR, embroidery machines, workshops, and more.
  • Study Areas: Open spaces for group work, no booking required.
  • Energy Pods: 20-minute power naps with soothing lights and music.
  • Exhibition Space: Rotating displays each semester.

Levels 4-6 – Study Zones

  • Levels 4 & 5: Group study rooms, bookable spaces, and Peer Academic Mentor support.
  • Level 4 Terrace: Outdoor seating with scenic views.
  • Level 6: Silent study and bookable pods.

  • Flexible Study & Event Space: Transforms for conferences or quiet study.
  • Panoramic Rooftop View: One of the best spots on campus.

Essentials & Services

  • 24/7 Access: Levels 2 & 3 open round the clock; upper floors close at 10pm.
  • Printing & Copying: Register your ID card and add funds via Oasis.
  • Laptop & Power Bank Loans: Available for daily use.
  • Charging Stations: On all floors (except Level 7).
  • Food & Drink: Allowed, but strong-smelling food is best enjoyed outside.
