Key Library Spaces
Level 2 – Books & Support
- High Demand Collection: Short-term textbook loans.
- Click & Collect Shelves: Convenient book pickup.
- Help Desks: Library and IT support.
- Guild Library Cafe & Student Kitchen: Food and drinks, microwaves, hot/cold water.
Level 3 – The Hub
- Reading Room: Quiet individual study with powered desks.
- Makerspace: 3D printers, laser cutters, VR, embroidery machines, workshops, and more.
- Study Areas: Open spaces for group work, no booking required.
- Energy Pods: 20-minute power naps with soothing lights and music.
- Exhibition Space: Rotating displays each semester.
Levels 4-6 – Study Zones
- Levels 4 & 5: Group study rooms, bookable spaces, and Peer Academic Mentor support.
- Level 4 Terrace: Outdoor seating with scenic views.
- Level 6: Silent study and bookable pods.
Level 7 – Events & Views
- Flexible Study & Event Space: Transforms for conferences or quiet study.
- Panoramic Rooftop View: One of the best spots on campus.
Essentials & Services
- 24/7 Access: Levels 2 & 3 open round the clock; upper floors close at 10pm.
- Printing & Copying: Register your ID card and add funds via Oasis.
- Laptop & Power Bank Loans: Available for daily use.
- Charging Stations: On all floors (except Level 7).
- Food & Drink: Allowed, but strong-smelling food is best enjoyed outside.
