Western Australia’s Shadow Cabinet met at Curtin University today.
Aside from considering weighty statewide issues, Opposition Leader Eric Ripper and his 16-strong team of shadow ministers embarked on a tour of Curtin Stadium and the University’s new engineering pavilion.
University Vice-Chancellor Professor Jeanette Hacket briefed the Opposition spokespeople on recent university trends and projects.
The shadow ministry caught up over lunch with Curtin Student Guild representatives and the University’s staff executive.
In the afternoon, visits were scheduled to the Curtin Resources and Chemistry Precinct and John Curtin Prime Ministerial Library.
